What I believe?
1. Love is a beautiful thing. The Love between a parent and a child, between brothers, between friends, between two people lucky enough… not afraid to love with their souls exposed. It is magical.
2. It is a God appointed, nature supported, society endorsed, common sense notion that the man’s role in any relationship is provider and protector. Forget the whole women emancipation, independent woman thingy. Its cute, but thats all it is.
These are the ideals.
The Twist:
…but all this doesn’t quell my practical (and somewhat cynical) impressions on love in the less that ideal ‘real world’.
Love has been described as a utility,
but I fear that is hardly accurate.
What I think?
Love IS Money!!
or in more accurate terms…
Love is currency!!!
it can be spent for good or evil purposes
some can love you to free you
others can love you to deceive you
some can love you to keep you
others can love you to delete you
however, the difference between love and money
is that morals are attached to the way you get one of them,
but its okay to go to extremes for the other.
thus you hear people say stuff like…
she did it for love, love is blind
etc etc and so on, and so forth
But the double standard goes much deeper
people do not place restrictions on what you can do for love,
but they place moral boundaries on what you should do for money
and they do not place penalties on what you might do for love,
but will execute when you do the very same thing for money.
But money and love are inseparable,
cos love might cost alot of things
but it always costs money.
And money buys alot of things
that probably will eventually buy love.
Why do guys and girls go at logger heads to balance this equation?
cos when love is the currency, it is a sellers market
and when money is the currency, it is a buyers market
and every participant in an enterprise,
structures his deals to play to his strengths
but the truth is,
90% of the time, its a sellers market.
and they want both your love and your money.
but good girls want the former first
and bad girls get the latter first
bottomline:
what do women really want?
EVERYTHING!
and there, my friends, lies the problem.
and to the guys,
some wise words…
You have only two options:
1. spend lots of money on her, or
2. spend lots of money on her!
That is, if she’s a good one, and you want to keep her.
And if for any reason, you are not doing both at the moment:
learn to make her scream
and learn to make her laugh
and the final word:
A successful man, is a man that makes more money than his wife can ever spend…
A successful woman, is a woman that can get that man!!
simple as that.
money will be there
